Five Star: Meet the Coaches
Emily McCarthy
Coach McCarthy played at Robbinsville High School then continued her athletic career at The College of New Jersey, where her team played in the DIII Womens Lacrosse National Championship in 2017. Since 2018, she has been a basketball and lacrosse coach at High School North in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. She has worked for Five Star lacrosse as a coach for the past 10 years, and is now a Co-Owner of the program.

Shannon O'Brien
Coach Shannon graduated from Rowan University in 2009, where she was a two-year captain of the DIII Varsity Women's Lacrosse Team. Upon graduating, she began coaching with South Brunswick High School and has been a member of the coaching staff there since 2014. Coach Shannon has coached for the Five Star program for over 10 years!
Lauren O'Grady
Coach Lauren is a former professional lacrosse player who has been coaching youth lacrosse for 3 years. He specializes in teaching offensive skills and strategies to young players.
Caroline Corriveau
Coach Caroline is college student at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where she is majoring in nursing. She has been playing lacrosse since she was in 4th grade and graduated playing at High School North. Coach Caroline says that lacrosse is such a special sport to her and she can not wait to come back to Five Star this summer!
Olivia Solis
Coach Olivia is a student at Towson University in Maryland where she is studying Psychology. She grew up in West Windsor and has been playing lacrosse since she was 7 years old with Lightning Lacrosse. She is currently a co-vice president for the Womens Lacrosse Club at Towson. Coach Olivia is so excited to get outside and help coach again this summer!
Emily Potenza
Coach Emily played lacrosse, basketball, and soccer all four years of high school and is now playing DIII Womens Lacrosse at The College of New Jersey.
Kylie Vandenberg
Coach Kylie played lacrosse, basketball, and field hockey all four years of high school and continues to play basketball at Hope College.
